The 5-Gallon Natural HDPE is a cost effective solution for shipping 5-Gallon Drums. This product comes with a liner that can be applied to the inside or outside of the Jerrican in either 2, 4, or 6 mil variations. The UN466N comes in a complete kit, the UN4G466N, which includes a shipping box.

This Natural HDPE Jerrican comes equipped with a 70 mm opening for easy and controlled access to the materials inside. The cap has a knockout plug for a 3/4 pour spout for dispensing samples. Not only is this Natural HDPE Jerrican’s cap tamper proof, but its gasket is constructed using EPDM plastic. EPDM is a preferred material when handling and storing a wide range of chemicals in industrial environments due to its chemical and impact resistance. EPDM is also well known for protecting materials from UV light and insulating electricity.

The UN466N is manufactured using HDPE plastic. HDPE plastic is incredibly durable, but also well known for being lightweight. The extensive threshold of temperature, chemical, and impact resistance only adds to the practicality of HDPE in industrial workplaces. The mixture of these characteristics makes it an excellent product for safely shipping and storing materials like gasoline and water.

Besides the advantageous use of both HDPE and EPDM, the 5-Gallon Natural HDPE Jerrican is also anti-static and can withstand a 10-12.5 torque. It also requires a W514 closing tool, which is sold separately.

In addition to its sturdy makeup, the Natural HDPE Jerrican has received a UN rating of 3H1/Y1.8/100/20. All Hazmatpac products, including the UN466N, are UN rated and 3rd party certified through a non-biased independent lab.
